Hello friend!
The metals which higher in reactive series such as K, Na, Ca, Mg, Al are extracted from there ore by electrolytic reduction.
For example u can take extraction of Al from Al2O3 which include Hall and Heroult's process and Hoope's electrolytic reduction process.
