Endocytosis is the process of uptake of materials from outside the cell by the invagination of the plasma membrane. and plasmolysis is a process when a living plant cell loses water through osmosis, the contents of the cell shrink away from the cell wall.

Answer:

To gulp and engulf food and other substance from outer environment,is called Endocytosis.

the cell has more water than outside so water come out from cell.If plant/animal cell is kept in the hypertonic solution than water come out of the cell due to the process of exomosis and there contraction of cytoplasm .This process is called plasmolysis.
