the energy transfered from producers to each trophic level is only (10precent ) to the next trophic level .

Energy decreases as it moves up TROPIC LEVELS because ENERGY is lost as metabolic heart when the organisms from one TROPIC LEVEL are consumed by organisms from the next level.
