Explain formation of rainbow

A rainbow is a natural spectrum of sunlight in the form of bows appearing in the sky when the sun shines on rain drops. It is combined result of reflection, refraction and dispersion of sunlight from water droplets, in atmosphere.

● Formation of rainbow is applicable of scattering of light .when their is raining then the sunlight is scattered by the water droplets. as a result white light of sun is spread in air in seven colour and we called that as rainbow.
