✓ Factors That Affect the Rate of Evaporation
• Temperature of the liquid. A cup of hot water will evaporate more quickly than a cup of cold water.
• Exposed surface area of the liquid.
• Presence or absence of other substances in the liquid.
• Air movement.
• Concentration of the evaporating
substance in the air.

Answer:-
Factors affecting evaporation:-
- Temperature: Temperature of a place increases the evaporation rate since it increases the kinetic energy between the particles.
- Humidity: Humidity (water vapour content in atmosphere) if increases, evaporation decreases and vice - versa.
- Wind: Wind also influences evaporation. Thats what we keep our wet cloths at roof top.
- Surface Area: Surface area also helps in evaporation. We spread our wet cloths at roof top so that it takes less time to get dried.
