हिरोशिमा और नागासाकी परमाणु बमबारी 6 अगस्त1945 की सुबह अमेरिकी वायु सेना ने जापान के हिरोशिमापर परमाणु बम "लिटिल बॉय" गिराया था। तीन दिनों बाद अमरीका ने नागासाकी शहर पर "फ़ैट मैन" परमाणु बम गिराया। हिरोशिमा पर गिराए गए परमाणु बम को अमेरीकापूर्व राष्ट्रपति फ्रैंकलिन डेलानो रूज़वेल्ट के सन्दर्भ में "लिटिल ब्वाय" और नागासाकी के बम को विन्सटन चर्चिल के सन्दर्भ में "फ़ैट मैन" कहा गया।

On 6 august 1945 an American bomber " ENOLA GAY " had dropped a atom bomb over hiroshima ... his target was the bridge of Ota river ... the people who survived from that blast vecone the victim of radiation that cause cancer and many other diseases.. there wound would take time to heal ... they would close abd again open up.. even minor burns took months to heal .. hair fall becom the common problem leaving most of mens and womens almost bald... heat of explosion was very much that even metel got melted.. On the 6th August peoples of hiroshima lite the lantern over the ota river.. every year on this day one ceremony is held for the soul of the people who were killed by the blast of 6th August...
