ie forward reaction ( A—B) and backward reaction (B—A)

now at equilibrium the rate of forward reaction and backward reaction become equal

ie baith reaction take place at equal rates

now At equilibrium formation of Co2 from C and O2 and the dissociation of Co2 into C and O2 tale place at same rate
