Rhizobium bacteria live in the root nodules of the leguminous plants. Rhizobium, converts the atmospheric nitrogen into soluble form such as nitrate and nitrite so that plants can take them up from the soil. Thus is enriches the soil and makes it fertile thereby helping the farmers.
