Explain how ball bearing helps in reducing friction ??

Ball bearing reduces friction of certain moving parts by replacing sliding friction with rolling friction. They are used to provide better linear motion around a fix axis. Ball bearings are spheres that are held in a track.

Ball bearings are in contact in very less area and don't get time to interlock with irregularities on surface.hence, it reduces friction.
