Because it trees are less than transpiration also become less

Transpiration is process by which plant fulfill its water intake from soil and that water evaporate to atmosphere which leads to rain.

Trees are one of the important source of rainfall on earth . Extra water from trees are evaporated through transpiration into the atmosphere and forms cloud ultimately .

When trees are cut on large scale leading to deforestation , the transpiration rate becomes low and less water is evaporated and hence the amount of rainfall on Earth reduces .

This is the main reason why the forested areas recieve more rainfall than civilised areas .
