Greetings of the day !
Assuming that you meant 'deforestation' , let us begin your answer :-
There are majorly two reasons how forest cover bring rainfall , as :
- Plants transpire (i.e lose water in the form of vapor through the stomata of their leaves) which makes the atmosphere humid and then rise above high forming clouds and thus bringing rainfall directly. Hence without the forest cover , the rainfall which would have earlier occured does not take place.
- Tall trees in hilly regions trap the clouds and force them to shed their moisture. Hence without the trees , the clouds would just blow through those regions without shedding moisture, leaving them dry.

Hope you find this answer satisfactory and self-explanatory. And if you do , feel free to express your gratitude ;)
