Solidarity came to power in Poland because:
1. Solidarity was a trade union of Poland.
2. It was the first independent union to be formed in any of the Communist countries.
3. It was revealed wide spread corruption and mismanagement in the Non- Democratic government of Poland.
4. In 1989, when Democratic elections were held, Solidarity secured 99 seats out of 100.
