diffusion plays vital role in exchange of gases between the cells,we know it is process in which gases of its higher concentration to a region of lower concentration through a semipermeable membrane.

so,when we breathe then gases enters our body and observe by cell and cell observe gases.so in our body is a region of lower concentration and in enviourment is a region of higher concentratin. so we breathe gas and this gas is observed by cell by the process of diffusion.
