Factory pollution is often thought of as those mostly visible and smelly smokestack emissions. ... The most common factory air pollutants are greenhouse gases from the burning of fossil fuels. Factories contribute to water and land pollution by acidifying rain, chemical spills and disposal of toxic waste

Factories pollute the air through fossil fuel emissions and through different toxic ammonia. The common emissions that we see are carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. ... The particles that factories release into the air to produce their products are affecting human life much more than people

In factories, toxic materials and gases, like carbon dioxide and methane, are burned and pumped out into the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide and methane absorb radiation from the sun and, therefore, affect the temperature of the planet Directly Factories often dump dirty water, used chemicals and oils, sewage, and cafeteria waste directly into the ground or into a community water source, such as a river, lake, or stream. Waste dumped into the ground can poison the groundwater that feeds other water sources, such as wells and ponds

Factories cause air, water and land pollution by the following ways :

• The waste water which is secreted by the factories into the rivers causes water pollution

•When the polluted water secreted from the factories to the rivers is used in watering the plants it makes the land polluted which inturn causes land pollution.

•The smoke which comes out of the factories which causes air pollution affects our lungs and can cause many respiratory diseases and this polluted air is also affects many birds.
