Explain how fertilisers are different from manure.

Manures :

<> It is an organic matter , which consists of animal waste , farm waste etc..

<> IT contains less amount of nutrients as compared to fertilizers

<> Manure is not costly

<> Manure does not destroy the crops or the soil.
In other words , it does not pave the way for pollution


<> Manures are usually bulky and are not easy to handle.

<> Manures are required in huge quantity

<> Manures are home made

<> It contains more amount of nutrients

1. A fertiliser is an organic salt.

2. A fertiliser doesn't provide humus to the soil.

3. They are prepared in factories.

4. They are very rich in nutrients like nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus.
