In 18 century French society was divided into three estates-(1)nobility-These were one who had large pieces of land,privilege by birth and were related with feudal system.(2) clergy- These were one who were either members of church or related with church.These had also privilege by birth.(3) Third estate- These were poor and exploited sections of the society.Only third estate had to pay tax(taile) to state. They also paid taxes to clergy, called tithe and provide services to clergy and nobility
