Hey there!

Here is ur Answer:-
================
Rain water and the water from water bodies on earth’s surface pass through the soil by the process of infiltration. The infiltrated water then gets accumulated in the aquifer deep under the ground. There are some layers of impermeable rocks which prevent the water in the aquifer from seeping down further. In this way, the ground water is recharged.

Answer:
1. Groundwater also known as deep percolation is a process where the water is moved downward where it reaches a aquifer.
2. Before getting into any artificial method, one should take precautions to maintain grounwater level naturally by managing water supplies, reduce reuse recycle methods, less use of chemicals etc.
3. The excess acummulated water in roots, lakes and rivers. Processes like water infilteration can be used for artificial recharge.
4. Obviously, groundwater is driven by rain and snow melting and to a lesser extent by surface water (rivers and lakes).
