Explain how light brings about tropic movement in the stem and root of a flowering

Explanation:

Stem is a phototropic i.e, it bends always as to face light so as to gather much light for carrying out photosynthesis. Whereas root is geotropic which is always attracted towards the earth due to gravitation.
