1) Poverty leads to hunger and lack of shelter. Poor people live in unhygienic conditions and invite host of diseases.
2) They lack medical facilities and die of diseases in want of timely and proper treatment.
3) They are in a situation which they're ill treated at almost all places. Each time they are left with scares on their spirits of self respect.
4) Poors live with the sense of helplessness.
5) Poor parents aren't able to send their children to school. This leaves them unaware about the opportunities in life
6) The children of poor people have to learn their livelihood even then they are not able to get their two square meals.

Indeed 'poverty is a curse upon humanity' because the poor cannot effort belly-full meals a day.
1) The poor do not have a proper roof on their heads to protect themselves from cold, rain and heat.
2) Basic essentials like clothing, oil and soap, etc. are missing in the daily routine of the poor. They cannot afford minimum subsistence level of living.
3) Sick members of the family is suffering from serious aliments like TB, cancer, etc. cannot be looked after in the absence of medication.
4) In the absence of savings on account of very low income, the poor fall and easy prey to indebtness.
