Federal Structure Of Indian Government

Federal means having or relating to a system of government in which several states form a unity but remain independent in internal affairs. The Indian Constitutuion is written and federal in structure. It has federal features such as division of subjects between the centre and the states. Though our Constitution is fedral in structure, it is untary in spirit.

In simple word, Federal System means distribution of powers of the government. For example, in india, the power is divided into State and Central.
