RAM or Random Access Memory contributes in the functioning of the computer by increasing memory capacity and also the memory speed. If you system has more RAM, the faster is your computer likely to work. On the contrary if the PC doesnot have enough RAM it may cause errors and glitching in the functioning of the computer. The RAM can be increased by adding self purchased RAM and installing it along side your built in RAM to make your PC work much faster.

RAM is Random  Access Memory.

When the RAM is faster, the processing of the system will be faster too.

Basically, it comes with two main functionalities which are memory speed and memory capacity, which are in turn responsible for the systems performance.

It is generally expensive in price when compared to other parts of the system.
