1. The government can not discriminate on the basis of religion.


2. Also any one can follow his/her choice of religion.

Hey mate here is u r answer...
secularism in India means equal treatment of all religions by the state. With 42 amendment of the constitution of India enacted in 1976,the preamble to the constitution asserted that India is secular nation....

however, neither India's constitution nor it's laws........
