Brain receives the information outside the body surface through 5 since organs
nose
tongue
ear
eye
skin.
These sensibilities classified to 2 categories.
General & special.
skin comes under general sensibility and other 4 under special.
GENERAL SENSIBILITY
Its receptors are located through out the body.
Eg - touch ,pain, pressure, temp, etc
Receptors get easily stimulated by different stimuli ,however they respond maximally to an adequate stimulus.
The receptors response is nonspecific to different stimuli.
