The factors which enabled Hitler’s rise to power and the Nazi party are as follows :-
1. The Weimar republic was unable to provide a stable government. It failed to inspire confidence of the people. So the government became vulnerable to dictatorship.
2. The treaty of Versailles was unable to restore the dignity of the Germans.
3. The results if world war -2 had a rippling impact on the economy.’
4. Failure of communist and socialist party to unite against Nazism contributed to the rise of Hitler.
5. Hitler acquired power when he was appointed chancellor by president Hindenburg on 30 July 1933.
6. Hitler dismantled democracy and started a reign of terror. He suspended civic rights by the ‘enabling act’. thus without having a majority he was at the zenith of his power and became the absolute dictatorship of Germany.
