Explain how the movement of leaves of a plant is different from the movement of shoots towards light

movement of leaves is uncontrolled and can move in any direction but the movement of shoot is towards stimulus only due to the release of hormone called auxin in shoot. and it is controlled by auxin hormone

The Movement of shoot towards light :-

  • Movement of shoot is towards the stimulus like light.

  • It is a directional movement. ( Tropic movement.)
