The sensitive plant or otherwise known as Mimosa Pudica is a type of nastic movement which is known as seismonasty i.e (stimulus-touch) .
Plants usually respond to stimuli by growing in a particular direction mainly towards light. This growth is directional due to which the plant appears moving. So the main difference between the sensitive plant and other plants is that it responds to touch due to some chemical properties while other plants respond to stimuli towards sunlight.
