Explain how the rate of evaporation of a liquid is related to intermolecular forces of attraction operating between the molecules of a liquid

Stronger the intermolecular forces, greater will be the energy required to break the bonds between the molecules. For example in H20, there is an additional force of attraction called Hydrogen Bonding between the molecules which is not present in H2S. Therefore, H2S evaporates far more faster than H20.

The rate of evaporation is related to intermolecular force of attraction as in order to change the state of any liquid we have to break the intermolecular force between them and thus they gets converted into vapours.
