The structure of the leaf is adapted for its role as the organ of photosynthesis because in the leaves of plant chloroplast present.Chloroplast contains a green pigment called chlorophyll which causes leaves green. Chlorophyll attract sunlight from sun and helps in the process of photosynthesis.
