Explain how to find which qst will be solved by direct n inverse proportion??

direct proportion: When one quantity increases(decreases) the other also increases(decreases)and vice-versa.this is called direct proportion.
example;
if the number of things purchased increases, the cost also increases.
indirect proportion: when one quantity increases the other decreases and vice-versa is called indirect proportion.

Suppose that we have much homework and if one will do it alone it will take a lot of time and if 2 will do the same homework together then it will take less time,that means that if the no.of men increases the work load will be less.So,when ond thing is increased then the other will decrease this is indirect proportion.

And suppose that one has to buy one egg then he will give that cost of the egg and if he will buy two eggs the cost will also increase.So,when one thing is increased then other will also increase,this is called direct proportion.
