Explanation: when a glass rod dipped in Ammonia solution bring near the test tube containing dilute sulphuric acid no such dense films are given but when again a glass rod is dipped in Ammonia solution bring other test tube of hydrochloric acid then it will give a dense white fumes .

Sodium Carbonate:Colourless, odourless gas that turn lime water milky but has no effect on acidified potassium dichromate solution is released i.e., CO2.

Sodium Sulphite:Colourless gas with smell of burning sulphur, turn lime water milky and also turn acidified potassium dichromate green is released i.e., SO2 gas.
