Hydrological cycle is also known as water cycle. Water from the ocean evaporates to form clouds. This water comes down on earth as rain and snow fall. Some of the water goes underground and is used by animals for various tasks and by plants for photosynthesis. This water again comes out in the form of sweat and transpiration to form clouds. This cycle goes on continously.

The Hydrologic Cycle is the continuous movement of water in the air, on the surface of and below the Earth. This cycle is the exchange of energy which influences climate. When water condenses, it releases energy and warms the environment. When water evaporates it takes energy from the surrounding environment, dropping temperatures.
