If all the polar caps melt it will be about more than 60 meters of extra sea level and this’ll cause :
More waters in the ocean and with more water in the oceans while the earth is rotating will cause extra weight and dents and curves at the oceans of the equator. The waters mass at the equator increased more than other places and guess what happens since the ice caps are melted and that’ll cause the Earth to rotate slower and that’ll stretch out the day and the time in one day will increase.

Earth rotates about its polar axis. When ice of polar caps of earth melts, mass concentrated near the axis of rotation spreads out. Therefore, the moment of inertia I increases.
As no external torque acts,
L=I omega = I(2π/T) = constant
With increase of I,T will increase i.e length of the day will increase.
