"The atomic mass of an element is, the number of times an atom of that element is heavier than an atom of carbon (12). Eg: oxygen's atomic mass is 16 amu.

The molecular mass is the number of times the molecule of the substance is heavier than one-twelfth of the mass of a carbon atom. Eg - Water (H2O)."
