electrical forces arising due to possession of charge and the gravitational forces arising due to possession of mass are the only two forces with which we play as human beings...gravity helps to rock the cradle electric force helps to play by picking peices of paper by a rubbed comb.
BUTTTTTTTTTTT.......we come across lot of contact forces like slapping some one....pushing someone....pulling by rope....beating with stick.....shaking of hands....frictional forces....air resistance.....water viscous drag....and so on..
BUT
if we have a closer look these all are due to interaction of electrons with each other when any two states of matter are in contact due to this electronic interactions all forces are born so every contact force is electrical in nature.
otherwise after Rutherfords expt. it became clear that atoms are mostly empty which means had there been no electric repulsion between two hands while a hand shake takes place then hosts hand would simply pass through guests hand during hand shake....like in GHOST FILMS☺
