Explanation:
Okay don't worry but this is an exothermic one so do it slow
1) Take a solution of nitrate in a test tube
2) Add Iron(2) sulphate solution to it
3) Add concentrated sulphuric acid to the solution, but remember do it slowly.
If there is nitrate present, you will get a brown ring at the junction of the two layers but take care to not disturb the solution or the brown ring may disappear.
