To strengthen democratic values like liberty, equality and fraternity, and co-operative living. To give a wider vision towards life. To develop an attitude of appreciation and understanding of other's points of view. To develop the spirit of love, tolerance, co – operation, equality, and sympathy.

Schools should be secular because;

• To remove the narrow mindedness.

• To ensure enlightened and brightened future.

• To develop a morale and humanistic outlook.

• To train youth to be a good citizen.

• To strengthen Democratic values like equality, fraternity, liberty etc.

• To develop a sense to understand and accept other's point of view.

• To synthesis materialism and spirituality.
