In the Indus Valley civilization many signs of class differences were found by the archaeologist. They had their civilization divided into three classes: the ruling class, the public and the slaves. But Indus Valley was a modern and happy civilization in general.

The historians also found ornamental pieces of jewelry buried. Showing sign of these bangles, necklaces etc being worn by the women. To cover the bodies of women they used large pieces of cloth usually of cotton or wool according to the weather while the men wore skin of loin.
