The main difference between Indian and English culture is that they lead a lifestyle without any goddess of money meanwhile Indian houses have shrines of money god or goddess in their houses.
Explanation:
- The author saw no symptoms of love of money in any Englishmen's house.
- However, Indian people's houses were full of their money gods.
- Indian shops also had images of gods to bless their earnings but the shops of English citizens lacked its presence.
