What is Social Exclusion?

For me, social exclusion means a person who is shut down by society. For example, people with disabilities are often excluded from "normal" jobs or poverty-stricken people are not given the same opportunities as those in the middle and upper class. Also, minority groups such as the indigenous people are often excluded from society's services because they are part of a marginalized group.

Why does Social Exclusion happen?

The reasons why social exclusion happens in our society are poverty, low incomes or unemployment, little to no public services, inequality against people with disabilities, etc.

Hope this helps !!
