The time through india is always UTC +5.5 hours ( india standard time )

indian standard time is calculated on the basis of 82.5 degree E longitude,in shankargarh fort,in allahabad district ,uttar pradesh. this is the time the whole of India follows.if its 12 noon in the greenwich meridian,its 5:30 pm in India.
