Answer:Under the Inland Emigration act of 1859, the plantation workers in Assam tea plantations were not allowed to go back to home or get leave from the factory owner and they have to work for the factory without getting wages and they were treated badly and the factory owners only want work from them. The plantation workers get to know about the Non-Cooperation Movement and they ignored the factory owners to to work and they escaped from the factory but there are train and bus strikes, so they started to walk to their home but in on the way the police caught them and brutally beaten and take them back to the factory.
