HEY!!
Protozoa are a diverse group of unicellular eukaryotic organisms, many of which are motile. Originally, protozoa had been defined as unicellular protists with animal-like behavior, e.g., movement. Protozoa were regarded as the partner group of protists to protophyta, which have plant-like behaviour, e.g., photosynthesis.

Protozoa- the part of kingdom protista.
All protozans are hetrotrophs and live as predators or parasites . they are believed to be primitive relatives of animals . there are four major groups of Protozoans, these are as followed :
1. Amoeboid protozoans - these live in fresh water, sea, and moist soil. Eg. entameba.
2. Flagellated - the members of this group are either free living or parasites. eg. trypanosoma.
3. Ciliated - these are aquatic , they have a cavity that open outside. eg. paramecium
4. Sporozoans - this include diverse organisms that have an infectious spore - like stage in there life cycle.
Eg, Plasmodium.
