Let Ravish's age be X and Arushi's be y..
Then According To the question
Case 1..
x-7=7(y-7)
x-7=7y-49
x-7y+42=0

Case 2..
X+3=3(y+3)
X+3=3y+9
X+3-3y-9=0
x-3y-6=0

Answer:

An equations represent the situation algebraically are y-7=7(x-7)  and y+3=3(x+3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of Arushi be x

Let the present age of Ravish be y

Arushi's age = x-7

Ravish's age = y-7

Ravish tells his daughter Arushi , " Seven years ago, I was seven times as old as you were then.

So, y-7=7(x-7)

3 years later

Arushi's age = x+3

Ravish's age = y+3

Also, three years from now , I shall be three times as old as you will be

So, y+3=3(x+3)

Hence equations represent the situation algebraically are y-7=7(x-7)  and y+3=3(x+3)
