Explanation:

Jhum cultivation is a type of crop rotation method and is also known as slash and burn agriculture in which farmers first clears the land by cutting trees, vegetation and burn it. The burnt soil contant potash which enhance the nutrient of the soil and grows crop on it and cultivate and migrate to new areas allowing post recovery of the left areas. (3 mark)
