explain Joule's law of heating and its application

haleytaylor: Joule's laws. Joule's laws are two: first about heat produced by an electric current, and second about how the energy of a gas relates to pressure, volume and temperature. Joule's first law shows the relation between heat generated by an electric current flowing through a conductor.

☛☛⛤☺When current I flow through a resistor of electric resistance R, heat is produced. The heat produced H depends directly on the square of the current, resistance and time t for which the current is allowed to pass. H=I2Rt, Is called Joule's law of heating.

when a current flows through an electric circuit due to collision between electrons and atoms of wire the heat is generated. How much heat is generated during current flowing through a wire and on what conditions and parameters does the heat generation depend? James Prescott Joule an english physicist, coined a formula which explains this phenomenon accurately. This is known as is known as joule law of heating.shown as:
Q=I^2×R×T☜☜☜☜☜☜⛤⛤⛤⛤☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
APPLICATION ⚌☛ELCTRICAL heater , electrical iron

let's start................

⊙Joules fast law shows us relation between heat generated by an electric current flowing through a conductor. Here Q is the amount of heat , I is the electric current flowing through a conductor , R is the amount of electric resistance present in the conductor , and T is the amount of time that this process happens for.

⊙JOULES FIRST LAW

====>>>Q=I^2 R T

====>>>The amount of generated heat is proportional to wire's electrical resistance when the current in the circuit and the flow of current is not change.

⊙The amount of generated heat in conductor carrying current is proportional to square of the current flow through the circuit,when the electrical resistance and the current supply is constant.

⊙The amount of heat is produced because of the current flow is proportional to the time of flow, when the resistance and current flow is kept constant.

⊙As we know heat is directly proportional to:

a)square of current flowing through the circuit.
b)resistance in the circuit
c)time in which the current flows through the circuit.

⊙It's SI unit is Joule.

⊙HERE, V=W/Q and P=W/Q*Q/T

⊙It is also known as restitive or ohimic heating.

⊙HOPE IT HELPS YOU
