Land use pattern is defined as the way how the land has been utilised in a given country. It refers to the way whether a land has been utilised for agricultural purpose, for construction purpose or any other purpose.
The forest area of India covers only 40% of the total land area. The reason for such low amount of forest area is that mainly of deforestation large amount of forests are cut down in the given area.
