Law of conservation of energy states that the total mechanical energy in an isolated system remains constant i.e previous K.E (kinetic energy) + P.E (potential energy) = later K.E +P.E.

Hey there!!

Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed but can be converted in to separate energy.And the total energy of the universe never changes it is 0.
