A magnetic field is produced by an electric current flowing through a circular coil of wire. At the centre of circular wire,field lines become straight and perpendicular to the plane of coil. Right hand thumb rule is used to determine the direction of magnetic field produced due to current carrying circular wire.
You can find it by pointing your right thumb in the direction of the current in the wire and curling your fingers. Your fingers will be curled in the same direction as the magnetic field around the wire.
Point your thumb in the direction of the magnetic field this time and curl your fingers just as before.
