Majoritarianism is a belief that the dominant community or the majority community have all the powers. The minority communities demands are suppressed under the dominance of the majority.
Minority people are not given equal opportunities and rights.
The country following Majoritarianism have to follow rules made by the majority. All the people are not treated equally and minorities are discriminated.
Example of Sri Lanka is best to describe Majoritarianism where the sinhalas were the majority and dominated the Sri Lankan Tamils.
