Present Continuous Tense:-

Subject + helping verb + ( am, is, are ) + first form of the verb + object.

For example :-

They are playing cricket.

We are eating eggs.

She is washing clothes.

Past Continuous Tense:-

Subject + ( Was , Were ) + 1st form of the verb + ing + object .

For example :-

The teacher was teaching.

We were walking.

The sun was shining.

Future Continuous tense:-

Subject + ( shall be / will be ) + first form of the verb + ing + object.

For example :-

We shall be preparing for the exams.

They will be running in the garden.
